Most patients find it is helpful to tell a close friend about what is happening. If it is a friend who has similar concerns this may be more helpful, otherwise it’s good to educate them about your situation and explain what you expect from them. Sometimes it is simply a matter of listening and understanding.
Talk to your partner about what you are going through and support each other – but don’t make fertility the only conversation you have together. While fertility is a priority, focus on other enjoyable and positive aspects of your life as well.
